Dr. Kristin Thornburg Lead Endodontic Specialist
Dr. Thornburg brings an extraordinary level of scientific and clinical depth to the field of endodontics. As a specialist, her approach to patient care is informed by an extensive background in advanced research, oncology, and surgical development.
Dr. Thornburg earned her Bachelor of Arts from Luther College before pursuing a PhD from Albany Medical College. Her commitment to the foundational science of healing led her to complete Postdoctoral Fellowships in Oncology and Cranio-Maxillofacial Development at the University of Louisville. She went on to earn her DMD from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, followed by a General Practice Residency at the Green Bay, WI Veterans Hospital, where she gained invaluable experience serving our nation's veterans. She returned to the University of Louisville to complete her specialized Residency in Endodontics.
While Dr. Thornburg provides a full range of endodontic services, she has a particular clinical interest in Endodontic Microsurgery, Complex Diagnosis, and the intersection of Oncology and oral health. Her unique academic pedigree allows her to approach difficult cases with a level of precision and insight that ensures the highest standard of care for her patients.
